Sisu Vihar Centres are being run in Medak and Ranga Reddy Districts with financial assistance from the Central Social Welfare Board.  In each centre two well-trained teachers are engaged.  Nutritious mid-day meal and medical assistance are provided freely to 300 poor children in 0-6 age-group.  Children of below-poverty-line (BPL) families are deriving benefit   from this programme.  While children of 0-6 years age group are directly benefited older children are indirectly benefited as they are relieved from the duty of looking after their younger siblings when their parents are away from home for work.
